It is our great pleasure and honor to extend this warm invitation to you to participate in the Annual Congress of the KSS 2019 and 71st Congress of KSS will be held from October 31 (Thursday) to November 2 (Saturday), 2019, at the Grand Hilton Seoul, Seoul, Korea.
Formerly named 'The Chosun Surgical Society', which was established on May 10, 1947, the KSS has been dedicated to the advancement of surgery through continuous research and training on surgeons, and to promote friendship and network among the members as well as personal cultivation of the members over the past 70 years.
Our mission is to contribute to the health and wellness of the human race through future-directed education, world leading-research, and people-oriented care in the field of surgery.
To achieve this mission, we plan to have diverse and fruitful academic programs along with high standard and up to date sessions of distinguished speakers. With more than 4,000 members including 200 overseas participants expected this year, the 3 day-program will include invited lectures, symposiums, policy sessions, multidisciplinary integration programs, and free oral and video presentations by distinguished experts from all over the world. In addition, there will be special programs for nurses and medical students like a chief residents forum and resident technique competition.
Last but not least, this international congress will give us an opportunity not only to share cutting-edge medical knowledge and valuable ideas but also to socialize and interact with colleagues and friends from all parts of the world.
We believe that the Annual Congress of the KSS 2019 will bring innovation and further advancement in the scientific level and quality of the study of surgery.
