On behalf of the Korean Surgical Society (KSS), we are pleased to announce that the Annual Congress of the KSS 2017 and 69th Congress of KSS will be held from November 2 (Thursday) to November 4 (Saturday), 2017, at the Grand Hilton Seoul, Seoul, Republic of Korea.
The Annual Congress of KSS has been successfully held over the years. As this year is the 70th anniversary of the Korean Surgical Society, we are very proud to celebrate this special congress under the theme of “70 Years with the Korean People. ”Accordingly, we will prepare a diverse and fruitful academic feast and social events befitting of the occasion. This International Congress and the Celebration of the 70th anniversary of the KSS will give us an opportunity not only to share cutting-edge medical knowledge but also to grow our friendships.
With more than 4,000 members including 200 overseas participants expected this year, the 3 day-program will include invited lectures, symposiums, policy sessions, multidisciplinary fusion programs, and free oral and video presentations by distinguished experts from all over the world. In addition, there will be special programs for nurses and medical students including the Future Surgeons Forum.
Formerly named the Chosun Surgical Society, which was established on May 10, 1947, the KSS has been dedicated to the advancement of surgery through continuous research and training over the past 70 years. That is why we are especially excited to welcome you in this special year of 2017, so we can celebrate our 70th anniversary in grand style together on November 3, during the Congress.KSS has been preparing various events to make this anniversary meaningful for all members and guests.
